Frequently Asked Questions

What is a mortgage servicing transfer?

Mortgage servicing transfers occur when the right to service a loan is sold or transferred from one institution to another. The terms of your loan do not change; however, Bank OZK will now collect your payments, manage your escrow account and provide customer service. The sale and transfer of mortgages is a common practice and is in no way a reflection of you or the quality of your loan.

Will any of my mortgage information or terms change?

The only information that will change is your account number and payment address after Bank OZK officially becomes your servicer. Your new account number will take effect on the Bank OZK servicing start date and can be found in your letter from Bank OZK. Once Bank OZK begins servicing your loan, you can send all payments to Bank OZK at this address:

P.O. Box 196

Ozark, AR 72949

How do I make a payment?

Bank OZK accepts payments by mail, over the phone, and online.

By Mail: Mail your payments to P.O. Box 196, Ozark, AR 72949.

By Phone: Call the Customer Call Center at 1.800.274.4482, which is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (CT) and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (CT).

Important notes regarding phone payments:

  • Please have your routing and account numbers or debit card information available for payment.
  • The fee for paying by telephone with a check or debit card is $3.95.
  • The maximum over the phone payment amount via debit card is $1,500, with a $3.95 fee.
  • Any payments made after 5:00 p.m. (CT) will be effective the next business day.

Online: Please use one of the payment portal buttons at the top of this page.

Can I make a partial payment?

Bank OZK accepts partial payments, and they will be applied to the mortgage loan when paid. If the loan is subsequently sold, the new lender may have a different policy.

How can I pay a late payment that was due to my previous loan servicer?

Bank OZK can collect those late payments after the Bank OZK servicing start date listed in the letter mailed to you.

If I have an escrow account, will that be transferred?

If you currently have an escrow account for your tax and/or insurance payments, it will be transferred to Bank OZK and continue to be collected and paid.

When will I receive my first bill?

You will receive your first billing statement within 10 days of Bank OZK beginning account service. If you have already submitted a payment to your previous loan servicer, don’t worry — it will be forwarded to Bank OZK for up to 60 days after Bank OZK begins to service your account.

Please note: Under federal law, during the 60-day period following the effective date of the transfer of the loan servicing, a loan payment received by your old servicer on or before its due date may not be treated by the new servicer as late, and a late fee may not be imposed on you.

I am experiencing financial difficulties. What can I do?
